Friday, February 28 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Instructor: Sammie This is a perfect organizer whether you need a first aid kit, project bag, notion organizer, accessory bag, etc. The Zip it Up organizer opens flat allowing for easy access and visibility. Pattern offers two size options. Small: 8.5" H x 10" W x 1" D (10" x 18" when open) Large: 11.5" H x 14" W x 1" D (14" x 24" when open) Don't be intimidated by the zippers! Sammie will walk you through the zippers if you haven't done a zipper before.

Friday, April 4 (10 am - 2 pm) - OR - Saturday, April 12 Cost per attendee: $30 Instructor: Sammie Sammie's Clam Up bag class is back - this time with two date options! The byAnnie Clam Up bag is perfect for notions, cosmetics, wonder clips, a small Easter "basket", or even a May Day bag! In class, you will make the large size Clam Up bag, which is 4 7/8" H x 6 1/2" W x 4 5/8" D. Sammie has a fun trick/tip for putting on the zipper with a bias binding. She not only finds this technique easier, but it also gives the bag a pretty aesthetic. If you aren't a "bag person" or haven't worked with a zipper before, don't let that stop you from taking this class! This is a great class for learning how to tackle a zipper and feel confident! Sammie is an exceptional teacher! The pattern includes several other sizes. So, once you learn the technique in class, you can use that to construct any of the other sizes included in the pattern.

Friday, April 11 (9:30 am - 4 pm) Cost per attendee: $40 Instructor: Denise Clockworx is a great introduction to Judy Niemeyer's foundation paper piecing methods. The sashings and corner stones between the paper pieced blocks help absorb the bulk of the seams. Additionally, the outer points are floating so you don't have to worry about cutting off the points.

The tote has a magnetic closure and a detachable zipper pouch - great for your keys, small wallet, etc. ByAnnie Soft and Stable gives the tote great structure. The pattern is jelly roll strip friendly. So, if you have a partial leftover jelly roll, this could be a great use for it! This is a great beginner bag class! Tote measures approximately 12" W x 15" H x 4" D

This is the perfect opportunity to take your sewing skills to the next level. During this class, you will learn (or brush up on) some of your basic skills such as working with rulers, rotary cutting, strip piecing, and precise stitching. The simple nine-patch block is a great block to learn the basics. And then, with a little creative cutting, the simple nine-patch block can look so different! It is a fun, versatile block. This class is perfect for the beginner or someone who wants to learn tips on being more precise.
